<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device, an image formation method, and a control program which, when an image is to be formed on an output sheet having a colored base, satisfactorily improves visibility of the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: an image processor 150 for converting image data containing image components into a print data format; and an image forming unit which forms on an output sheet an image based on the image data converted into the print data format. The image processor 150 comprises; an area discrimination unit 151 which on the basis of the feature amount of an image component, performs area discrimination of the image component from the image data; a base color detector 153 which detects color information on the base of the output sheet; and an emphasis correction unit 156 which on the basis of the result of comparison between the color information on the image component having undergone the area discrimination and the color information on the base, adjusts the color information on the image component so as to improve the visibility of the image component obtained when the image is formed on the output sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
