<p>The invention relates to the field of building and, more specifically, to methods for manufacturing a composite wooden structural beam for use in the erection of various architectural structures. The technical result of the claimed invention is less labour intensive manufacture of the beam, a reduction in the weight thereof and an improvement in the insulating properties. The technical result is achieved in that in the method for manufacturing a composite wooden structural beam, which includes preparing planks and joining same with the aid of fastening elements, said fastening elements are in the form of a band or a dovetail key, wherein when a band is used for fastening purposes, inserts having, for example, a trapezoidal cross-section, are placed between the planks and holes are made in the outer planks such as to be perpendicular to the axis of the beam and the direction of the heat flow through the architectural structure, the band is fed into the holes and tightened and the ends thereof are fastened, for example by bonding; when keys are used for fastening purposes, grooves are cut into the planks, perpendicular to the axis of the beam and the direction of the heat flow through the architectural structure, into which grooves the keys are then placed, whereupon the voids are filled with a thermal insulating material and an interstitial insulation is fastened to the contact surfaces of the beam.</p> |
