The device has a clutch actuator system for actuating a friction clutch and an acceleration sensor i.e. impact sound sensor, and comprising a clutch actuator and a local electronic unit that controls the clutch actuator. The acceleration sensor detects plucking oscillations of the friction clutch. The electronic unit and the clutch actuator partially compensate the plucking oscillations of the friction clutch. The clutch actuator system is firmly connected with the friction clutch such that the plucking oscillations of the friction clutch are transferred to the clutch actuator system.
