PURPOSE: A device for elastically deforming a seal ring, a seal ring insertion apparatus, and a seal ring insertion method using the same are provided to reduce assembly errors by inserting even a seal ring having directivity in a right direction. CONSTITUTION: A seal ring insertion method is as follows. The outer diameter of a seal ring(100) inserted in a ring groove(220) formed in the inner circumference of a cylinder(210) is elastically deformed same as or smaller than the inner diameter of the inner circumference of the cylinder. The shape of the elastically deformed sealing is maintained and the seal ring is inserted in the inner circumference of the cylinder. The seal ring is released in the ring groove to be returned to the original shape, thereby being placed on the ring groove. |
