A developing cartridge, including a cartridge body with a carbon powder housing part and a powder outlet; a stirring member rotatably supported inside the carbon powder housing part; a developing roller rotatably supported at the powder outlet; a gear set provided on an outer wall of the cartridge body for receiving a driving force to drive the stirring member and the developing roller; a rotation member (4) rotatably fixed on the outer wall and provided with a clutch gear and a coaxial cam (41), with the clutch gear having a small diameter portion (43) clearance fitted with the gear top of a gear in the gear set and a big diameter portion (42) excessively fitted with the gear top of the gear, the big diameter portion (42) being provided with an elastic friction layer along the circumference, and the cam (41) being disposed relative to the clutch gear; a contact member (5) rotatably provided on the outer wall and having a contact end (51) contacting the cam and a trigger end (52); and an elasticity member (6) installed between the cartridge body and the contact member (5) and forcing the contact end (51) to contact the cam (41).
