PRESSURE GAUGE-CALIBRATING DEVICE

Provided is a user-friendly pressure gauge-calibrating device that uses a pressure gauge as the reference and is not affected by the order of calibration pressure points or pressure maintenance times. The pressure gauge-calibrating device is provided with: a reference pressure gauge, which is calibrated in advance by a calibration procedure of repeatedly returning the pressure gauge always to a prescribed pressure after data acquisition at each calibration pressure point and adjusting the pressure until the next calibration pressure point; a pressure generation/control device; a shut-off valve; and a measurement control unit. The device is characterized in being provided with functions: that allow adjustment of the pressures of the instrument being calibrated and of the reference pressure gauge by different procedures; that make measurements at each calibration pressure point with the reference pressure gauge being continuous with the instrument being calibrated; and that shut off the continuity between the reference pressure gauge and the instrument being calibrated after measurement and return the reference pressure gauge to a prescribed pressure.
