IN DMB THE MPEG-4 AUDIO SERVICE PROTECTION SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATING METHODS

PURPOSE: A MPEG-4(moving picture experts group-4) audio service protection system in DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and an operation method thereof are provided to decode audio data corresponding to applied types when the audio data is encoded in a scrambler, thereby encoding the audio data. CONSTITUTION: An audio data scrambler(400) decodes audio data encoded through input data conversion units(410,415). The audio data scrambler executes a scrambling process of the decoded audio data through a scrambling processing unit(420). The audio data scrambler converts the scrambled audio data into a predetermined audio data type through output data conversion units(445,450). The audio data scrambler transmits the converted audio data to a multiplexer through an output data processing unit(455).
