<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and an article list generation method for the printing device, capable of reducing the time and effort for preparing an article list and an article label for performing actual article confirmation. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device comprises: an article information input part 2a for entering article information including an article name; an article label printing part 14a for printing an article label on the basis of the article information; an article list generation part 18a for generating an article list being the list of the article information accompanying the printing of the article label; and an article list storage part 13a for storing the generated article list.
