<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve directional characteristics without performing complicated working for oscillators and electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic speaker 1 has a configuration where a rectangular second sound emission part 3, a rectangular and frame-shape insulation member 10, and a rectangular first sound emission part 2 are overlapped when viewed from an upper surface side. The first sound emission part 2 is configured to hold an oscillator 210 between electrodes 220U, 220L, and the second sound emission part 3 is configured to hold an oscillator 310 between electrodes 320U, 320L. The oscillator 210 and the oscillator 310 are oscillated in the same direction. The oscillator 310 has a larger area than the oscillator 210. Sound pressure in an area where the oscillator 310 is not overlapped with the oscillator 210 when viewed from an upper surface side is lower than that in an area where the oscillator 210 is overlapped with the oscillator 310. In the electrostatic speaker 1, the sound pressure is reduced on an edge side when viewed from an upper surface side so as to reduce a side lobe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
