摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce correction errors and to acquire quantitative information about a photographic subject. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescence observation device 100 includes: a light source 10; a fluorescent image generation unit 41 that acquires the fluorescent image G1 of a photographic subject F irradiated with excitation light; a white light image generation unit 42 that acquires the white light image G2 of the photographic subject F irradiated with illumination light; an image correction unit 43 that generates a corrected fluorescent image G3 by the images G1 and G2; a threshold setting unit 45 that sets a threshold on the basis of the average value of the gradation values of the entire image G3 and the first coefficient thereof and on the basis of the standard deviation of the gradation values of the image G3 and the second coefficient thereof; an extraction unit 47 that determines, as an interest area, an area on the image G3 having a gradation value exceeding the threshold, and extracts it; a monitor 50 that displays the interest area and the image G2 in association with each other; and an input unit 53 that makes an observer input whether or not a determination by the extraction unit 47 is correct.
