<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus and a recording apparatus that make it possible to avoid the contact of a recording medium and a fixing means with a simple structure when the recording medium is curled. <P>SOLUTION: A heating drying part 15 includes: a distance-increasing slope 26a and a distance-decreasing slope 27a constituting a part of a conveyance passage for conveying a rolled sheet from an upstream side to a downstream side and capable of supporting the rolled sheet; and a heater unit 24 disposed opposite to both of the slopes 26a, 27a and applying heat-dry processing for fixing an image to the rolled sheet when the rolled sheet on which the image is recorded upstream of both of the slopes 26a, 27a is supported by both of the slopes 26a, 27a. Both of the slopes 26a, 27a are relatively distant from the heater unit 24 as compared with a flat surface 25a upstream of both of the slopes 26a, 27a, in a vertical direction in which both of the slopes 26a, 27a and the heater unit 24 are disposed opposite to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
