<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inadvertent spatial resolution degradation near the central column of a multi-slice detector, and to suppress a windmill artifact near an edge column. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a first weight coefficient setting unit 62a for setting up the first weight coefficient in which, in the central channel of the multi-slice detector, while the weight given to the raw data of the central column is high, the weight given to the raw data of both side columns of the central column is low, and while the weight given to the raw data of the central column becomes low responding to moving toward the edge channel from the central channel, the weight given to the raw data of both the side columns becomes high, a second weight coefficient setting unit 62b for setting up the second weight coefficient becoming high responding to move from the central column of the multi-slice detector toward the end column, a first weight coefficient correction unit 62c for generating the first weight coefficient after the correction by correcting the first weight coefficient by the second weight coefficient, and a column direction filtering unit 62d for generating the projection data by filtering the raw data with respect to the column direction based on the first weight coefficient after the correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
