摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device, which can sufficiently cure an uncured film, thereby can form a protective film with high durability, which has high flexibility for designing the device and can be designed in a compact type, and which can continuously process a plurality of works, and to provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic organophotoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The light irradiation device includes: a workpiece conveyance path space, which is vertically extending and in a circular column shape, for upwardly conveying a workpiece having an uncured film formed on an organic photosensitive layer on a cylindrical conductive support; a light radiating window for radiating light radially inward, disposed to surround the periphery of the workpiece conveyance path space; and a gas discharge port for discharging nitrogen gas radially inward, disposed to surround the periphery of the workpiece conveyance path space. The gas discharge port is disposed at a level position lower than a level position where the light radiating window is disposed.
