<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost electronic stringed musical instrument that enables a beginner to easily master playing technique. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic guitar which electronically generates a musical sound by thrumming six strings comprises a fingerboard 3 which is formed on a surface of a neck 2 extending from a body 1 in a predetermined direction and has only a limited range from a fret number 1 to a fret number 5 of respective strings 5.
