<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium stacking device capable of achieving further miniaturization as compared with conventional ones, and to provide a medium processing device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a reject box 11, a pressure roller 21 is positioned behind an accumulation roller 20 so that delivery direction of a paper money BL is obliquely downward, and in conformity with this, an upper guide 22 is inclined so that a bill stopper 23 is disposed at the end of the upper guide 22.
