<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharging apparatus that can be achieved to facilitate removal of its second tray from its first tray. <P>SOLUTION: In the sheet discharging apparatus 1, the second tray 200 includes a pair of protrusions 210L, 210R each disposed outside in the width direction of a second receiving face 201 respectively, to protrude in the protruding direction D2 vertically intersecting the second receiving face 201, and each equipped with second spindles 220L and 220R respectively. The first tray 100 includes a pair of first bearings 120L, 120R each supporting the pair of second spindles 220L, 220R respectively from outside in the width direction thereof, and includes a pair of first ribs 140L, 140R each disposed inside in the width direction of the pair of protrusions 210L, 210R respectively to extend in the discharging direction D1 of discharging a sheet 9.
