<p>The present invention patent specifications relate to a mixture of biodegradable esters of plan origin for use as plasticiser of polymeric materials (1), and is characterised in that it is produced by an esterification reaction; mixture of isosorbide and isomers thereof; sugar cane derivatives; capric and caprylic acids from palm kern oil or babassu oil. The isosorbide produced from soribol derived from sugar cane is used, and contains isomannide in addition to isosorbide, and may optionally contain isoidide. In order to overcome the problem of the scarcity of raw materials, while retaining the use of vegetable fatty acids, a mixture is used of (C8) caprylic acid and (C10) capric acid from palm kern oil or babassu oil, which is analogous to palm kern oil, and the esterification reaction is carried out using both mixtures, the alcohol and the acid mixtures. In these circumstances, all the acids present in the mixture react with the dialcohols present in the mixture.</p> |
