PURPOSE: A base assembly for a motor and a motor including the same are provided to improve noise and vibration performance by reducing cogging torque generated by a stator core. CONSTITUTION: A base member(230) installs a shaft system of a motor. A stator core(100) includes a coil generating an electromagnetic force. A dummy core(150) is formed in the upper part or the lower part of the stator core. The dummy core reduces cogging torque. A damping sheet is interposed between the stator core and the dummy core.
