<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that prevents design of a variation performance from being complicated even if jackpot and subsequent game states are decided by lottery individually. <P>SOLUTION: A jackpot result associated with execution of a special game or a lose result associated with no execution of a special game is derived when start conditions are satisfied. When at least the jackpot result is derived, either a low-probability game state or a high-probability game state is determined as a game state after the special game. A main ROM 100b stores a variation pattern determination table associated with both the jackpot result and a game state determined by a game state determination means.
