The device has a separation flap (3) arranged at a front lower end of a goods slide (2), where goods are arranged one behind the other in the goods slide. A rotation axis (4) of the flap runs parallel to a moving direction (8) of the goods on the goods slide. The goods are made to slide on a retrieving surface by hand using the flap, where the retrieving surface is formed opposite to the flap on a retrieving slide (5). The flap comprises a front stop wall that is provided with pins and/or a bracket. A retention surface is formed at a rear end of the flap.
