<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cylindrical laminate which is easy to reduce a variation in an outer diameter and the weight of the cylindrical laminate, and an apparatus for manufacturing the cylindrical laminate. <P>SOLUTION: In a roll-up process, a nonwoven fabric 12 is made to pass continuously between a core 21 and a driving roller 22 while pressurizing the nonwoven fabric 12 by the core 21 and the driving roller 22. The nonwoven fabric 12 is heated by the driving roller 22 and rolled up by the core 21. A semifinished product is obtained. Furthermore, the manufacturing method includes a diameter-reducing process to be matched with the outer diameter of the cylindrical laminate 11 in which the semifinished product obtained in the roll-up process is heated and pressurized so that the diameter may be reduced while being rotated together with the core 21 by the driving roller 22. Pressurization in the roll-up process and the diameter-reducing process is practiced by adding a load to the core 21.
