<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating an electric power plant by which a compound electric power plant can be adapted to a large abrupt electric power request from a power distribution network. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power plant (1) has a gas turbine (2), a steam power generation system (10) and at least one generator (20) driven by the gas turbine (2) and the steam power generation system (10). The gas turbine (2) generates fuel exhaust gas (8) supplied to a boiler (11) of the steam power generation system (10). In steady operation, the gas turbine (2) generates a first output (30) larger than zero, and the steam power generation system (10) generates a second output (31) larger than zero, and the generated total output (32) being the total of the first output (30) and the second output (31) is substantially equal to an in-house load (33) of the electric power plant (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
