<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility capable of storing sewage sludge containing a radioactive material in safety by shielding radiation thereof and capable of being constructed in a short construction period. <P>SOLUTION: A storage facility for sewage sludge containing a radioactive material comprises: blocks 1 for a box culvert made of precast concrete that are placed on a mounting surface so that openings are directed to sides and that are connected in a length direction; end panels 5 made of precast concrete that seal the openings of both ends of the connected blocks 1 for the box culvert; and water-impervious sheets 7 laid along inner surfaces of the blocks 1 for the box culvert and the end panels 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
