<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier that prevents the mixing of droplets into air discharged from an air supply port while capable of evading the occurrence of a defect due to an interfusion of the droplets, and to provide an air cleaner. <P>SOLUTION: The humidifier includes: humidifying filters 31; a disk-shaped holding frame 30 which contains and holds the humidifying filter 31; a driving means which rotates and drives the holding frame 30; water tanks 6; and a blower fan 2. The driving means has: a transmission annulus 32 which is disposed as overhung from one side of the holding frame 30 and annular-shaped with smaller radius compared to the holding frame 30; and a transmission roller 51 which rotationally contacts the transmission annulus 32 and transmits rotation to the transmission annulus 32. At the one side of the holding frame 30, a first opening and a second opening are disposed inside and outside of the transmission annulus 32, respectively. An air flow generated by a blower fan 2 passes through the first opening, and water stored inside a water tank 31 intrudes into the holding frame 30 via the second opening and is absorbed into the humidifying filter 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
