摘要 [Problem] The objective is, when charging a battery provided with cells connected to each other in parallel, to suppress a circulating current from flowing between cells, becoming over discharge. [Solution] A vehicle battery control device having first and second cell connected in parallel is characterized by having a controller that executes a charging process whereby: the first and second cells are each provided with a relay that operates between an permitting state that permits charging and a non-permitting state that does not permit charging; when there is a voltage difference between the first cell and the second cell, the relay corresponding to the one cell having the lower voltage is caused to be in the permitting state so only the one cell is charged; when the voltage of the one cell has become equivalent to the voltage of the other cell by means of charging, the relays of the one cell and of the other cell are both caused to be in the permitting state; and thus the one cell and the other cell are charged.
