The method involves conveying objects to a moderate temperature tunnel (18) that is limited by a tunnel housing (14), where tunnel air comprising absolute moisture is provided in the tunnel housing. The tunnel air is circulated and supplied to the moderate temperature tunnel as supply air at moderate temperature. A part of the circulated tunnel air is removed as exhaust air, and the absolute moisture of the tunnel air is controlled by adjusting a volumetric flow of the exhaust air. The moisture of the circulated air and temperature (Tkrit) in measuring regions (66, 74) are monitored. An independent claim is also included for a system for performing temperature-control of an object.
