<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing "uneven closure" in a simple constitution and at a low price even when a thinner opening/closing door is employed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an opening/closing door 40 which is formed on a part of a casing and is openable and closable with respect to an apparatus body 10; and engagement parts 50a and 50b in the vicinity of both end parts of an inner surface of the opening/closing door 40 which engages the opening/closing door 40 with the apparatus body 10 in an opening/closing door 40 closed state with respect to the apparatus body 10. A hitting part 60 is provided between the engagement parts 50a and 50b. The hitting part 60 hits a slide member 80 as a hit part provided in the apparatus body 10, and moves the slide member 80, thereby engaging the engagement parts 50a and 50b with the apparatus body 10, and the hitting part 60 hits the slide 80 before either of the engagement 50a or 50b is engaged with the apparatus body 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
