摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance photoelectric conversion efficiency of a photoelectric conversion element, and to cope with up-sizing of the photoelectric conversion element or a plastic substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element 10 has a structure where an electron transport layer 40, a photoelectric conversion layer 50 and a hole transport layer 60 are sandwiched between a first electrode 30 and a second electrode 70. The electron transport layer 40 contains a substance represented by a formula M(X) and its reactant. In the formula, M is selected from a group consisting of alkaline metal, alkaline earth metal, metal of group 2B, 3B, and transition metal; X is selected from halogen, carboxylate group, alkoxy group, alkyl group, and metal-acrylate group represented by a specific formula; and a is a positive integer dependent on the valence of M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
