<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that generates a more comfortable air-conditioning environment in accordance with circumstances of users. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical wind direction-changing blade 12 which vertically changes the direction of air blown out from the outlet of an indoor unit has first and second blades disposed freely turnably in the vicinity of the outlet. The turning shaft 24 of the second blade 20 is configured to move close to or away from the first blade 18.
