USER INTERFACE DEVICE CAPABLE OF IMAGE ZOOMING BY PRESSING FORCE, IMAGE ZOOMING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device capable of surely activating expansion operation of a displayed image even with a finger of one hand holding the device, while sufficiently suppressing wrong operation.

SOLUTION: A user interface device includes: a display for displaying an image; a touch panel for outputting a touch position of a finger successively with passage of time; a pressing force detector for detecting pressing force applied to the touch panel by the finger; touch position determination means for determining whether or not the finger touch position overlaps with a display position range of an image to be zoomed; pressing force determination means for determining whether or not the pressing force is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold; and zooming operation control means for expanding the image to be zoomed when the determination by the touch position determination means determines is true and the determination by the pressing force determination means is true.
