<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery boron nitride composition which can keep moldability, capable of controlling the increase of viscosity of a composite material, when increasing the quantity of an additive, in conjugating it with a resin. <P>SOLUTION: This powdery boron nitride composition includes boric nitride and boric oxide for a 2A group and/or a 3A group element in the periodic table. In the 2A group and/or the 3A group element in the periodic table, particularly, a compound containing Yttrium is mixed with BN powder. Then this mixture is heat-treated in non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. The powdery boron nitride composition including Yttrium boric oxide or the like is formed. Using this, the decrease of viscosity as the composite material can be attained. Moreover, in the powdery boron nitride composition thus obtained, the decrease of thermal conductivity is hardly taken place, even though the content of boron nitride is substantially decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
