<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off method of a joint of a steel sheet pile, capable of eliminating a foreign matter inside the joint and packing a cut-off material while keeping the state. <P>SOLUTION: In the water cut-off method of the joint of the steel sheet pile according to the present invention, after placing and fitting the steel sheet pile with a recessed groove formed to be filled with the cut-off material on a claw bottom part inner surface side of the joint in a cross-sectional view (steps S1 and S2), viscous fluid is injected to the recessed groove to eliminate a foreign matter inside the joint (step S3), and the cut-off material is packed through the recessed groove thereafter (steps S4 and S5).
