<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely avoid difficulty of positioning a plate glass and cracks of the plate glass due to improper flexion by smoothly pressing an almost rectangular plate glass with flexibility on a support face without hindrance by a proper device. <P>SOLUTION: A pressing member 4 presses a first end face 2a of an almost rectangular plate glass 2 having flexibility to press the plate glass 2 on a support face 3a, and a second end face 2b parallel to the first end face 2a of the plate glass 2 is brought into contact with a reference face 5x. When the plate glass 2 is positioned, raising means 6 raises a portion 2c on the first end face side of the plate glass 2, and therefore, the pressing member 4 presses the first end face 2a of the plate glass 2 while a downward convex flexion 2d is generated on the plate glass 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
