<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small-sized power generation control device and a power generation control method which can control output voltage of a power generator (alternator) according to an integrated current value which integrates charging and discharging current values of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A storage unit 15 stores values of electric current flowing in loads 41 and 42 which operates while an engine 6 is operating. A control unit 14 detects a value of electric current flowing in a load 51 which operates or stops independent of operation of the engine 6. The control unit 14 acquires information related to power generation of an alternator 3, and estimates an output current value of the alternator 3 on the basis of the acquired information. The control unit 14 calculates charging and discharging current values of a battery 2 on the basis of the detected current value, the current values stored in the storage unit 15, and the estimated output current value, and integrates the calculated charging and discharging current values.
