<p>This liquid crystal display device uses a liquid crystal panel with a CS control pixel division system, has a joint single capacitance holding line for two adjacent pixel rows, and selects two adjacent scanning signal lines simultaneously. When two pixels (Pn+1, Pn+2) adjacent in the scanning direction and not selected simultaneously are set to an identical prescribed brightness in two frames, a first signal potential is written to the one pixel (Pn+1) in one frame, and a second signal potential with the same polarity as the first signal potential is written to the other pixel (Pn+2) in the other frame, and the first signal potential and the second signal potential are made different. According to the present invention, horizontal stripe shaped display variations are suppressed in the liquid crystal display device.</p> |
