DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMMON PUBLIC RADIO INTERFACE

A data transmission method and a relevant device for a common public radio interface. The method includes: acquiring the data volume of the data to be sent to radio equipment (RE), the data to be sent being common public radio interface data; judging whether the data volume of the data to be sent is greater than the data bearer capability of a transmission link between a data sending end and the RE, if not, then forming the data to be sent into Ethernet frames using a unicast transmission mode, and if yes, then forming the data to be sent into Ethernet frames using a multicast transmission mode; and sending the Ethernet frames to the RE via an Ethernet switch. Also provided is a relevant device for implementing the method.
