<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyparaphenylene terephthalamide fiber composite that has superior wettability and adhesiveness with a thermosetting resin while maintaining high heat resistance and high Young's modulus that a polyparaphenylene terephthalamide fiber originally has, has excellent affinity with water, is superior in papermaking properties in a wet process and is useful for a reinforcement material of rubber and a resin; a method for producing the same; and application of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The polyparaphenylene terephthalamide fiber composite contains a curable epoxy compound and a compatibilizer, and further a curing agent as needed, which are infiltrated and impregnated in a skeleton of the fiber. An impregnation amount of the curable epoxy compound, the compatibilizer and the curing agent into the fiber is 0.1 wt.% or more but 10.0 wt.% or less.
