<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten write-in time in writing a recording mark in a recording layer of an optical information recording medium with high-intensity pulse laser. <P>SOLUTION: A thermosetting optical information recording material for forming a recording layer of an optical information recording medium where pulse laser beams are condensed to the recording layer to form a recording mark for recording, contains, in addition to an epoxy compound and a curing agent for epoxy, a benzophenone structure-containing compound.
