<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose member for fixing a component which can cope with a case where at least one of a plurality of components being attached to each other is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A member 1 for fixing a plurality of components 3, 4 to each other includes a proximal part 8 having a hollow part at at least one end, and a shaft 7 a portion of which can enter the hollow part and can advance and retract in the longitudinal direction for the proximal part 8. The proximal part 8 is positioned for one of the plurality of components 3, 4 being fixed to each other, and a portion of the shaft 7 projecting from the interior of the hollow part of the proximal part 8 is positioned for the other of the plurality of components 3, 4.
