Provided are a compression coding and decoding method, a coder, a decoder and a coding device, wherein the compression coding method comprises the following steps of: extracting the sign information of an input signal to obtain an absolute value signal of the input signal (101); using a predicted coefficient to obtain a residual signal of the absolute value signal, wherein the predicted coefficient is obtained by prediction and analysis according to the signal characteristics of the absolute value signal of the input signal (102); multiplexing the residual signal, the sign information and coding parameters after they are respectively coded; and outputting coding code streams (103) to enhance the compression efficiency of the audio frequency signal.
