<p>The flow cross section of the riser is considerably larger than the outlet (50) cross section. The riser is closed by a steeply-inclined base (52). In the lower edge region (54) of the riser, at the deeper side of the inclined base, an opening (56) is provided directly above the base, in the side wall (46) of the riser. The outlet assembly (40) has an outlet section (44) leaving the riser and sedimentation tank to one side. It passes horizontally through the riser and the tank wall (14). In a region below the outlet unit (40), the riser includes a section of length with constant flow cross section. The outlet section (44) has a variably-constricted outlet (50). The opening (56) in the lower region of the riser, is located on the side facing the tank wall.</p> |
