An image forming apparatus (1) includes: a job control unit (16) configured to impose an execution restriction on a job if the number of simultaneously-executed jobs on a function-to-function basis reaches an upper limit value; a guaranteed job count setting unit (161) configured to set a guaranteed job count, wherein the guaranteed job count provides a guaranteed number of simultaneously-executable jobs on a function-to-function basis; and a shared job count setting unit (162) configured to set a shared job count that can be allocated in common to respective functions, which provides the number of simultaneously-executable jobs.
