PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to easily install a short tab by installing a first short tab and a second short tab in a connection member and to prevent the oxidation of a case by keeping the case electrically neutral. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(101) comprises an electrode assembly(10) which comprises a first and second electrode; a case(26) which has a space for accepting the electrode assembly; a cap plate(31) which is coupled to the case; and shorts(21,22) which is protruded from the outside of the cap plate and electrically connected to the electrode assembly; a connection member(50) which is arranged on the cap plate and comprises a body part and a first and second short tab; and a short element(60) separated from the first short tab and the second short tab. |
