PURPOSE: A variable speed fluid coupling is provided to effectively prevent an oil leakage generated in a bearing assembly of a power transmission shaft and prevent the abrasion of a scoop tube and oil from being leaked through a gap between the scoop tube and a cover. CONSTITUTION: A variable speed fluid coupling comprises a power transmission shaft(1), a scoop tube, a double seal chamber, a labyrinth seal gap, a recovery chamber, and a recovery passage. The power transmission shaft is connected to a driving impeller(14) and a driven impeller(15), thereby transmitting power by the medium of oil charged in an oil chamber inside a housing unit(13). The scoop tube is arranged in a scoop case(16) and controls the amount of the oil supplied to the inside of the oil chamber. The double seal chamber and labyrinth seal gap is formed in a shaft sleeve(2), an inner cover(3), and a surface cover(5) of a bearing assembly rotate-supporting the power transmission shaft.
