FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to protective bumpers. Proposed bumper is composed of box-section rail and box-section body. Multilayer corrugated packs are fitted between said body and bumper. Said packs are composed of flute-in-flute tapes with smooth tapes, thicker than corrugated tapes, fitted there between. Said packs are tightly fitted in both lateral gaps between bumper and body bent ends and in frontal gap between body and bumper arranged nearby body outer wall. It is distinguished by smooth tape definite thickness selection, that of initial flexure of corrugations in the pack, pack parameters, and upper flange of every bent end of the body. Said packs are protected by covers rigidly connected with body bent ends. Rectangular holes are made in body rear wall. Brackets rigidly jointed to bumpers and attached to car bearing frame pass through said holes. Shell of polypropylene or low-density polyurethane is secured outside body outer wall, body bent ends and their upper and lower flanges and covers.EFFECT: higher efficiency of absorbing both frontal and lateral impacts.5 cl, 6 dwg |
