<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for accessing an object model having a plurality of model elements for each model element, in a model-driven development process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system has: an initial setting part initially setting first extended metadata for prescribing the kind of an access right to the model element and second extended metadata showing a right to correct the first and second extended metadata, for each of the plurality of model elements; a first extended metadata editing part editing the first metadata when the second extended metadata show that the second extended metadata have a right to edit the first extended metadata in response to a user request; a second extended metadata editing part editing the second extended metadata; and an access management part checking out the model element that can be read an edited according to a checkout request of a user as it is, replacing the model element that cannot be read or edited with a substitutional model element with no content, and checking out it.
