PURPOSE: A structure assembly unit for non cut and cover type tunnel formation and a construction method thereof are provide to form the structure assembly unit which is structurally safe and is integrated without installation of a reinforcing member in a steel pipe. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe including an opening extended in a longitudinal direction is prepared. A steel plate crossing the steel pipe adjacent to the other steel pipe is inserted and connects the steel pipes.
