FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method involves polymerisation of lactide while heating in the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst consists of a mixture of magnesium methoxides and ?-dicarbonyl esters of general formula, where Ris C-C-alkyl and Ris CHCOCH, CHCOORand CHCN. Molar ratio lactide: magnesium methoxide: ester ranges from 20000:1:4 to 10000:3:6. The method enables to obtain a biodegradable polylactide-based polymer which does not contain heavy metals and retains number-average molecular weight of not less than 60000 when heated to 180°C for 15 minutes at atmospheric pressure.EFFECT: high efficiency of using the polymer.1 tbl, 1 ex |
