FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Proposed method comprises mounting door holding fixture, fitting side door thereat, welding side door top and bottom hinge fixed links to car body, removing said fixture and upsetting side door relative to car body. Side door upsetting us performed after welding side door bottom hinge fixed link welding. Upsetting is executed by force directed opposite the door gravity force direction but prior to welding side door top hinge fixed link.
