[Class 119] [Also in Groups XVII and XXIII] A handle or hand grip for various uses, e.g. firearms, and which may be adapted for fixing at front and rear ends or front end only, has a smoothly curved convex upper surface 11 divided at the forward end by a tapering partition 12 to form two diverging surfaces as 14, curving forwardly and downwardly and adapted to engage the thumb and forefinger and meeting underneath in a curved transverse surface with a depression 15 for the forefinger. Below the curved ridges 22 is a concave portion 19, 20 to engage the palm of the hand and joined underneath by concave surfaces 9, 10 to receive the middle and little fingers. The axis of the handle is inclined at an angle between 10 and 20 degrees. |
